The monthly meetings of 2010 will be held on the third Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Stockmen's Casino (meeting room).   We will meet on March 19th.  Families and singles are welcome.  You need not own a horse to participate.

There are some beautiful high mountains and awe-inspiring views in Elko County.  Come along and see for yourself.

We are a dedicated group working to preserve and improve our beautiful mountain trails for ourselves and future generations.

We are one chapter in a national organization known as BACK COUNTRY HORSEMEN OF AMERICA. 

BACK COUNTRY HORSEMEN OF AMERICA is an organization working in the back country and educating the users of the back country in the Leave No Trace principles.  Members are interested in perpetuating recreational stock use on virtually all public lands.

Nationally, Back Country Horsemen volunteers contributed 650,000 service hours, valued at $12.3 million in a 6-year period.

Join us on our journey over the mountain where the rider and his stock are living symbols that connect America's past to its future, carrying forward the traditional skills of the pioneers.
